They are words we’ve used to describe a history that most of us never experienced, but now, they sound frighteningly possible. If you are like most people, you are trying to determine how to safeguard your family. Some may be saying, “How will I feed my family?” These concerns are universal. Sea of Galilee Reaches the Year’s Lowest Level
Despite the onset of the rainy season, Israel’s water levels continue to drop. The Israel Water Authority reported on its Web site that the Sea of Galilee, or Lake Kinneret has hit strikingly low levels, more than 214 meters (702 feet) below sea level. The 214.31 meter measurement taken on November 17 is the lowest the Kinneret has reached since at least March of 2007. The 213-meter mark is the so-called red line, at which point it is not recommended to draw water. The Kinneret has been below that mark since July. The much more serious black line is at 215 meters (705 feet)below sea level.

Two More Kassams Land Near Sderot
Palestinians launched two Kassam rockets towards Sderot late night on November 17. Residents reported hearing explosions, though sappers have yet to find the remains of the rockets. No injuries were reported and no damage was caused. The Israel Defense Forces said the rockets were launched from deep within Gaza, a rare occurrence as Palestinian groups commonly use the land close to the border as launch zones. The “Color Red” alert sirens were not activated.
